Visit Us on the Greens
The Central Park bowling green is located just north of Sheep Meadow. Enter Central Park at West 69th Street and walk east for 2 minutes. Stop by and say "Hello".
Visit Us at an Open House or Clinic
During our May to October bowling season, you are invited to join us on the Green for a free lesson scheduled at the mutual convenience of yourself and a club member. If you are at the Green, feel free to introduce yourself and, if available, a club member will gladly show you how our sport is played. You will be hooked in no time.
If you are visiting New York City and would like information about the club, please email us: nylawnbowling@gmail.com
Learn to Lawn Bowl
Lawn bowling is a precision sport where the goal is to roll slightly asymmetrical bowls nearer to a smaller white ball (the "jack") than your opponent can. We are a truly global sport, played everywhere from the United Kingdon to South Africa, New Zealand to the Philippines, Brazil to Pakistan and China. In countries like United Kingdom, Australia and Malaysia, bowls is a nationally televised sport with internationally famous players. A sport of skill and stamina where players of all ages and physical abilities can compete together at club, regional, national and international levels.
