Centennial Statement
The New York Lawn Bowling Club, founded in 1926, brings together New Yorkers of all walks of life, ages and abilities to enjoy the wonderful sport of Lawn Bowls in Central Park, one of the most iconic settings in the Northeast.
As we approach our Centennial, we have much to celebrate including a thriving membership, and a vibrant community of bowlers of all abilities who value the sport and the social connectivity unique to lawn bowlers around the world. As we look ahead to the next one hundred years, we do so grounded on our founding principles of community and sportsmanship.
The NYLBC stands ready to build on our achievements in collaboration with our city partners and welcomes all New Yorkers to Mineral Springs and the Lawn Sports Center.
Corporate & Community Events
To bring the joys of lawn bowling in the beauty of Central Park to a broader range of New Yorkers the New York Lawn Bowling Club supports private and corporate groups holding events on the green. The Club actively engages with groups to insure that their events are successful from organizing all aspects of the games through advising on and supporting logistics.

Lawn bowls is
